I started teaching in 1976 in Idaho. Over the years I taught 4-7 grade students as a
classroom teacher, gifted and talented in a K-5
program, Title I, music, and computers. In
addition, I spent a few years traveling to
schools from Wisconsin to Washington as an
author. I took many of my teaching ideas over
the years and adapted them to technology which
I'm sharing on these pages. Use
them in any way you wish in your own classroom.
If you think my site is of value, please let
others know. All of these lesson ideas involve technology. I use Microsoft Office 2007, Adobe Photoshop Elements, Smart Notebook, and Kidspiration. If you have an earlier version of Office, you can download a converter from Microsoft. I have a Mac at home and these files open in Office Mac. You will need to have Kidspiration and Adobe Photoshop Elements installed on your computer to use those files. If you do not have Smart Notebook software, you can use a web application called Smart Notebook Express. The files are in order for youngest to oldest students. |
