The photographs on this tour of the Oregon Trail
were all taken by Kevin Boos and are
copyrighted, but I give permission to use any of
them free of charge for non-profit educational
or personal purposes. All I ask is that you give
credit to me and let others know of this web
site,

The Tour of the Oregon Trail can be used when
teaching American History, Westward Expansion,
many state histories, or the Oregon Trail.
Download Isaac - A Journey
to Oregon from Apple, Smashwords, Kobo,
and other outlets as they become available to
enrich your curriculum. As you read the book and
view these photographs, you and your students
can see what Isaac and Abe, and the thousands of
emigrants saw as they traveled the trail.
The paintings are all by William Henry Jackson
and I have permission of Scotts Bluff National
Monument to use them. I am not giving you
permission to copy them. For more extensive
information about the trail purchase The
Oregon Trail Revisited by Gregory M. Franzwa.
The maps on these pages come from the
National Park Service. Their site gives a
wealth of information about the Oregon Trail.
